Kevin Leary is the founder of Valor Hockey Group and VHG Management, and currently serves as a scout for the Mountain Kings of the NAHL. With a strong background in player advising and development, Kevin has helped guide dozens of athletes from youth programs to junior and NCAA hockey. His hands-on, honest approach sets him apart in the industry, focusing on long-term growth and real advancement. Kevin is also the architect behind Valor Development Camps, where he leads training programs that combine elite coaching with structured mentorship. Passionate about building pathways for players, Kevin brings leadership, experience, and vision to every athlete he works with.

Nick Ramm

President – Valor Hockey Group, VHG Management, Valor Development Camps
Nick Ramm is a current NCAA Division III forward at Wentworth and the Vice President of Valor Hockey Group. With over 150 junior games played, Nick brings firsthand knowledge of the modern junior hockey landscape and what it takes to advance. He specializes in player evaluation, college consulting, and creating development plans tailored to individual goals. Nick has successfully helped numerous athletes earn junior and NCAA opportunities through trusted relationships and a detail-driven approach. His experience as both a player and advisor allows him to connect with athletes and guide them through the process with confidence and clarity.

    Jake Larusso is a Division 1 athlete with over 150 junior games played and currently serves as a scout for Valor Hockey Group. With deep connections across the junior hockey landscape, he plays a key role in identifying talent and guiding players through the advancement process. His experience at both the junior and collegiate levels gives him unique insight into what it takes to move up.

    Tyler Ramm is an assistant coach for Valor Hockey, having coached over 200 players to success over the past year with a focus on development and on-ice execution. His strategic insight and mentorship have helped guide players through crucial stages of their careers. With strong connections across the junior hockey landscape, Tyler brings both experience and opportunity to those he works with.

    Advisor

    Anthony Galante is a Division 1 forward and the leading scorer on his team, bringing high-level playing experience and leadership to Valor’s camps. With over 100 junior games played, Anthony understands what it takes to compete and succeed at every level. He plays a key role in player development and delivers impactful, competitive training environments. His connections are deep and his pkayer assistance is unmatched.

  • Nolan Pecora

    Advisor

    Nolan has played over 100 junior games and is the founder of the ME4 Summer League, widely recognized as the premier summer league in New England. The league has featured 15 Division 1 players, 2 U.S. National Team members, and 15 USA Hockey National Development Camp selections. His vision has created a highly competitive platform that draws top-tier talent and fosters elite-level development during the offseason.

  • Cameron Pape

    Cameron Pape is the assistant coach of the EHL 87’s and the head coach of the 87’s EHLP team, where he has earned multiple championships and coaching awards. He also works for NCSA, the largest scouting and recruiting database in the U.S., helping players connect with college programs. Cameron’s expertise spans coaching, recruiting, and development, making him a vital part of the Valor team.

  • J.J. Alger

    Consultant

    J.J. is the founder of Mobile Hockey a top summer hockey team in New England as he has found success at all age groups and has become very well known throughout his journey. J.J plays Division 3 Hockey at RWU and looks to continue his on ice dominance as he finished his 100 game juniors career as a point per game player. He has also created a platform called Alger Productions that showcases the best players at all levels.

    Ken is the Vice President of Valor Hockey and serves as the program’s head recruiter and scout, helping identify and support talent across all levels. A former player on top teams from youth through juniors, Ken brings real experience and elite-level perspective to his role. He is well-connected in the prep hockey world, giving players access to key decision-makers and programs. Ken’s leadership is central to Valor’s success.

At Valor Hockey Group Management, our team of advisors is made up of experienced NCAA athletes, junior veterans, championship-winning coaches, and active recruiters who are deeply committed to player development. Together, they bring a wealth of firsthand experience, strategic insight, and genuine mentorship to every athlete in our program. With backgrounds that span Division I and III college hockey, 200+ junior games played, professional scouting, and recruiting expertise, our staff is uniquely positioned to guide players through every stage of their journey.

Our goal is simple: to provide honest, personalized guidance that helps players not only reach the next level, but thrive once they get there. Through structured development plans, ongoing mentorship, and access to our network of coaches and programs, we help each athlete maximize their potential—on and off the ice.
